Midland Road

The design of the new building draws inspiration from the history of the site. The existing structure, an old industrial building, has been a part of the area for many years, and we wanted to honour its legacy while introducing a contemporary development. Our approach was to create a modern apartment scheme that blends forward-thinking design with subtle nods to the industrial past of the location, ensuring the building fits harmoniously into its historical context.

Maximising the number of apartments within the constraints of the site presented a unique challenge. The surrounding mature trees, existing boundaries, and other site features required thoughtful consideration and careful planning. We worked to preserve the natural elements while optimising space and functionality for the new apartments. The effort was made to ensure the new development respected the area’s character, offering a contemporary yet sensitive addition to the landscape.
